Belonging to What We Are Becoming

Take a moment to notice that you are here.

As a body.

Breathing, sensing, responding.

Notice the surface supporting you. Notice the movement of breath. Notice the quiet exchange between your body and the world around it.

You are not standing outside what is happening. You are part of what we are becoming.

This moment,
this body,
this breath,
is one of the ways becoming takes shape.

Let these words arrive gently:

I am not separate from the living world.
I belong to what we are becoming.
My presence matters.

Not because you are destined or chosen— but because participation is the nature of existence.

Stay with this for a few breaths.
Notice what changes when belonging is not something to achieve,
but something made real
again and again
through how you are here.

Here is a short reflection related to this practice.

This practice is includes in the collection: The World That Answers Back.
